Indirect Access enables BDR to route calls via our chosen carriers network. This ensures that we are not tied to one particular carrier and can therefore utilise the carrier that offers the most effective commercial rates and has the most operationally effective network.

There are two key methods of indirect access:

• Least Cost Routing(LCR)
• Carrier Pre Selection(CPS)

Where LCR is utilised, the customer’s PBX is reprogrammed to enable effective call routing. To enable CPS, BT enable a software change at the BT Exchange. This is the most effective way to cut calls costs.
